I’m going home for lunch and I’m really looking forward to it, silly as it sounds. Now that I have a car, I can!
Today is very foggy, snowy, and pretty. There’s fog everywhere and the snow sticks to the trees making the world into a Winter Wonderland.

We bought a new car on Saturday. A brand new 2008 Jeep Liberty. I love a) having a car (no more walking to work in the cold!) and b) driving this neat piece of machinery. I drove an old Toyota Corola for a while, but this is the first car that I picked and bought!

December was greeted with snow! Here’s the first snowfall of December which was followed by a few more in the last week.

December 5th is the day that the Dutch (and some Belgians and French) traditionally celebrate Sinterklaas dag. It’s a day for gift-giving and all around fun. Children have been putting their shoes by the fireplace for a few weeks as Sinterklaas and his helper Zwarte Piet deliver candy and other goodies … if they’ve been good. [...]
